Blanket Projects – Lily May’s Blanket, Day 1-2

     I often order more yarn than I need for each specific project. I have found that when picking colors for my pillows having several colors to test with fabric and with this recent spate of baby blankets I knew it was not going to waste. This one is going to the daughter of an childhood friend.

     I am really fond of blanket patterns that use thinner color stripes but I find the changing of colorways irksome and time consuming. The new type of joining I’ve been working with lately has made me less apprehensive on working with single color stripes at least when I’m working with yarn.
