Blanket Projects – Logan’s Cube Blanket, Day 5

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA      Now that the blanket has grown in size each row takes a good bit of time to complete  and I commented to Logan, “Pretty soon we’ll be lucky if I get one row done a day.”

His response, “I still think you’re a bit crazy. Cool hobby although.”

In all honesty “a bit crazy” might be an understatement. Heck, even I joke that crocheting is like an addiction since after a few days of not crocheting I get a sort of compulsion to start a new project. Crazy is a title I take in stride since, along with obsessive, it is a fairly accurate description of what I am known to do. I often go out of my way in creating memories for my friends, be it physical objects (ex: giant crocheted blanket or a 1:12 scale model of the Old Globe Theater) or highly coordinated schemes for a days activities.

This was not the first nor last time I’ll probably get a comment like that. I usually respond with a mischievous grin reminiscent of the Cheshire Cat adding, “Just wait until you see what happens when you make me mad.”
